New Content - Ch.8.5: Spring Cultivation
Greetings, Dear Manager.
With the Aug. 28th, 2025 (KST) Update, new content [Ch.8.5: Spring Cultivation] will be added to the game.

Event Description
- When the event starts, the [Ch. 8.5 - Spring Cultivation] Event Page will open.
- During the event period, you can earn [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] by clearing the Spring Cultivation Event Stages & the Mirror Dungeons.
- You can redeem [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] in the [Achievements] section of the Event window.
- You can redeem various rewards from the [Reward Exchange] by spending the [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] that you have collected.
Event Gameplay
▶ Combat Encounters of ‘Spring Cultivation’
You can obtain [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] every time you complete a combat Encounter of ‘Spring Cultivation’.
Each Encounter has a first-time reward, and with it, you can obtain even more [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren].
The final combat Stage of ‘Spring Cultivation’ costs Enkephalin Modules.
That final Stage will have a higher Enkephalin-to-[Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] ratio, so it will be much more effective as a means of collecting [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren].
▶ Achievements
Complete various Achievements via taking Classes during the Event period to obtain [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren].
※ Achievements will become inaccessible and [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] will no longer be obtainable after Sep. 25th, the Event end date.
※ If you have already completed but haven’t claimed your Achievement rewards prior to Sep. 25th, you can obtain [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] by claiming them.
Event Gameplay
▶ Mirror Dungeons
During the Event Period, ‘Spring Cultivation’ Floor Theme Pack will have a fixed appearance on the final floor of both Mirror Dungeon Normal & Hard.
The Theme Pack features exclusive choice events and E.G.O Gifts.
※ Once the event is over, your Spring Cultivation Theme Pack will no longer be a fixed appearance, and Spring Cultivation Theme Pack spawn location may be adjusted.
Clearing a Mirror Dungeon run will net you [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren].
Selecting the Spring Cultivation Theme Pack as the final floor theme will net you even more [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren].
Mirror Dungeon Hard Difficulty rewards contain much more [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] than Mirror Dungeon Normal.
※ However, please note that using the Weekly Bonuses does not increase the event currency yield.
※ Please note that, if you have started a Mirror Dungeon run before the event started, you will not gain event currency from that run.
▶ Main Story
If you have not fulfilled the event unlock requirements, you can obtain [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] as a first-time reward from Main Story Combat Encounters.
Upon first-time-completion of an Encounter, you can obtain [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] proportional to the amount of Enkephalin Spent regardless of whether you’ve met the EX Clear Conditions or not.
※ You cannot obtain event currencies from stages that have already been completed.
※ You cannot obtain [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] from Refraction Railway or Luxcavation.
Cultivation Minigame
The “Cultivation” minigame will be unlocked while progressing through Stage 8.5-4. In this minigame, you can cultivate Jia Xichun and Sinclair’s capabilities by making them take classes.
You can take up to 3 classes a day, and you have a total of 30 Class Days to play the game.
Taking Classes will enhance Jia Xichun and Sinclair’s Zhi, Yong, Ren stats, and Skills may gain new effects or become enhanced the higher their Zhi, Yong, Ren stats get.
“Class Outcome” determines the amount of stat gained.
Remember: the higher their Morale, the higher their chance to have a successful Class.
Taking certain classes together in the same day may unlock “Class Combos”. Class Combos give various extra effects that may affect the “Class Outcome”.
Every few days in the Cultivation Minigame, Jia Xichun will be made to take Midterms, or Sparring matches. Jia Xichun will independently take and choose her own actions for those Midterm combat Encounters.
Once 30 days of school are over, any Cultivation history from your previous minigame runs will be deleted.
You can replay Stage 8.5-4 to replay the Cultivation minigame for Jia Xichun and Sinclair.
※ Failing a Midterm does not affect their Cultivation rate; you can retry the Midterms.
※ If you have started a new Cultivation minigame run, any Ch. 8.5 - Spring Cultivation Combat Encounters featuring Jia Xichun will use her previous run’s Cultivation progress.
※ You can always select [Restart] option to restart the Cultivation minigame from Day 1. Or, choose the “To Window” button to save your progress and exit the minigame.
Event Currency
If you have cleared the Spring Cultivation’ Stages, Mirror Dungeons, and the Main Story, you have a small chance to obtain [Definitely Not A Secret Scroll].
[Definitely Not A Secret Scroll] has the highest chance of dropping from the final Encounter of the event.
However, the chance for it to drop is the same across all other Encounters.
[Definitely Not A Secret Scroll] is automatically converted to 20 [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] in the Results or the Rewards screen upon acquisition.
Event Bonus Units
Obtain more [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] by completing Event Encounters or Mirror Dungeons while equipped with Event Bonus Identities.

※ Event Currency Bonus maxes out at 120% Bonus.
※ Event Bonus Identities don’t actually have to participate in a battle; you can earn the bonus currency simply by having them in your Team loadout.

Event Rewards
At the [Rewards Exchange], you can spend [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] you’ve collected to purchase various rewards.
※ You can no longer obtain [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] after you obtain enough [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] to purchase every item in the [Reward Exchange].
※ [Intro to Zhi, Yong, Ren] will no longer be obtainable once the Event closes after the 2025/09/25 (KST) Scheduled Update.
※ [Reward Exchange] will be open for 5 weeks, from 2025/8/28 12:00 (KST) ~ Before 2025/10/2 (KST) Scheduled Update.
※ Even after the event fully ends, you will be able to experience the Spring Cultivation combat Encounters and view its story anytime at the Drive tab and Theater - [Detour Tales].
