Guide on Season 8: PUNCTUM
Greetings, dear Manager.
[Season 8: PUNCTUM] will commence on Sep. 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM (KST).
This notice will provide information on Season 8 and its new or adjusted systems.
Please note that the contents shown here are subject to change. We will notify you again as each update is deployed.

1. Season 7 Egoshard Carryover
Guide on Season Changes - Egoshards
- When a new Season begins, half of the previous Season's Egoshards will be carried over (rounded up).
- The carryover rates for unconverted Egoshards from multiple seasons past will be halved for each following Season.
- The remaining Egoshards are converted into Thread.
- Egoshard Crates (both random and nominable) will be carried over in the same way.
As per the information above, half of the currencies listed below will be converted to Season 8's.
- Season 7 [Sinner]'s Egoshards
- Season 7 Uptie & Threadspinning only Shards (Universal)
- Season 7 Egoshard Crate
- Season 7 Nominable Egoshard Crate
The carryover of currencies to Season 8 will automatically occur the first time you log into the game during Season 8. A popup will show how much previous Season's Egoshard relevant currency you owned, and how they have been converted.
※ Previous Season's Identity Egoshard currencies that are still in the Mailbox or in the Lost & Found will be carried over when they are claimed. Carryover to Season 8 currency will occur as soon as they are claimed, and currencies that were not carried over will be converted to Thread-related currencies.
※ If the Season 7 currency obtainable from Refraction Railway Line 6 is claimed in Season 8, 1/2 of that currency will be carried over to Season 8 (rounded up). Currencies that are not carried over will be converted to Thread-related currencies.
2. Gradual Main Story & Battle Pass Updates
Chapter 10 of the Main Story and the Season 8 Pass will be updated in 3 parts.

Accumulated Pass Levels are continuously tracked regardless of the gradual updates. When the subsequent updates unlock the rewards for higher Pass Levels, you can immediately claim them up to your accumulated Pass Level.
Max Pass Level rewards earned for leveling up the Pass past the max Pass Level are also kept track of even when they aren't unlocked, and you can claim the accumulated Season 8 Nominable Egoshard Crates immediately once they are made available.
Chapter 10 stage progression rewards and Max Pass Level rewards will become available to claim with the Oct. 1st update, when 《Part 3》 of this chapter is added.

▶ EXP-related Pack Adjustment Early Notice
With the increased Identity Level Cap, the required EXP for Identities has also been increased. In accordance with this change, with Season 8 Update, contents of the Packs with Identity EXP resources will be adjusted.
More detailed information will be shared via the Sep. 17th Scheduled Update Notice.
4. Identity Level Cap Increase & Luxcavations

If you have cleared the Main Story Chapter 9, the max level of Identities will be increased from 60 to 65 with the Season 8 Update.

<New EXP Luxcavation>
Clearing a certain stage in Chapter 10 《Part 1》 will unlock EXP Luxcavation #10.

EXP Luxcavation #10 has separate, rotating Slash, Pierce, and Blunt Stages. They each open on the following days:
- Slash: Mon, Tue, Sun
- Pierce: Wed, Thu, Sun
- Blunt: Fri, Sat, Sun
Each Attack Type Stage has first-time clear rewards, and clearing each Attack Type unlocks the Encounter Skip option for the said Attack Type Stage. For example, clearing Luxcavation #10 [Slash] will unlock the Skip function only for Luxcavation #10 [Slash] and not [Pierce] or [Blunt].
5. Season 8 Extractions

- The new Season's Identities and E.G.O will be added to the list of Extractable items.
- Identities & E.G.O from previous Seasons remain in the pool and are obtainable via Extractions.
- Event Identities & E.G.O from previous Seasons cannot be obtained from Extractions. However, in Sinner-specific or Faction-specific Target Extractions, previous Seasons' Event and Event Reward Identities & E.G.O will be available from the respective Sinner's Extractions and their Yisang Exchange catalog.

- Starting from Season 7, all Identities and E.G.O are displayed at the Dispenser, regardless of their availability. Identities and E.G.O of the new Season are Dispensable at the Dispenser.
- Please note that Extraction Identities & E.G.O belonging to the Season immediately before the new Season will be displayed but not Dispensable at the Dispenser.
- Please refer to the below for list of Identities & E.G.O Dispensable or not Dispensable at the Dispenser.
